No offense to DiFelice, but he Ortiz looked like he was taking BP up there. Now Manny strikes out on 3 pitches, so maybe his cutter works much better versus RH's, or maybe he was nervous and unable to hit his spots. We'll need a bigger sample to know for sure, of course, but I'm hoping for the latter, as there are plenty of lefty bats in the big leagues.
That said, he's throwing strikes, which is nice to see.

Whatever strikes me as
interesting, and serious Milwaukee Brewers thoughts. If you are a believer
in respecting OBP, throwing strikes, and keeping the ball in the park,
you may have found the place you've been searching for. I don't
believe in paying a no hit/good field SS $7 million per year (Jack Wilson, I'm talking about you). I don't think
it's a good idea to "play for a run" early in the game. Build up your
minor league system, and watch success follow.
