Word from a message board is that Turnbow has been DFA'd, with the boring recall of Joe Dillon to take his spot. Dillon did play tonight in Nashville, but of course, that is a short trip to Houston.
I have no source on this, but to be honest, it makes so much sense, it is probably 100% true.
Whatever strikes me as
interesting, and serious Milwaukee Brewers thoughts. If you are a believer
in respecting OBP, throwing strikes, and keeping the ball in the park,
you may have found the place you've been searching for. I don't
believe in paying a no hit/good field SS $7 million per year (Jack Wilson, I'm talking about you). I don't think
it's a good idea to "play for a run" early in the game. Build up your
minor league system, and watch success follow.
