I'm on record as saying I hate going more than 3 years, and I put a hard limit on 4, no exceptions. They are literally one tweak away from being a shadow of their former selves, and one pitch away from being out for 18 months. Heck, 3 years is too many.:)

Whatever strikes me as
interesting, and serious Milwaukee Brewers thoughts. If you are a believer
in respecting OBP, throwing strikes, and keeping the ball in the park,
you may have found the place you've been searching for. I don't
believe in paying a no hit/good field SS $7 million per year (Jack Wilson, I'm talking about you). I don't think
it's a good idea to "play for a run" early in the game. Build up your
minor league system, and watch success follow.
