Doug Melvin on the FSN pre-game today, and Gord Ash on the radio version earlier, both hinting they will be looking for a SP should the club stay in the race. Gord especially said that, while they would have to be overwhelmed to deal top prospects, that they did have some guys who were "behind" some young players currently in the majors.
Doug added there was very little talk yet, as most teams feel they are still in race, or close enough to not justify trading veterans.

Whatever strikes me as
interesting, and serious Milwaukee Brewers thoughts. If you are a believer
in respecting OBP, throwing strikes, and keeping the ball in the park,
you may have found the place you've been searching for. I don't
believe in paying a no hit/good field SS $7 million per year (Jack Wilson, I'm talking about you). I don't think
it's a good idea to "play for a run" early in the game. Build up your
minor league system, and watch success follow.
