(8/31/2008 11:12:00 PM) - Al Appleton is almost certain to be the home of the Brewers' low A team next year, as this article suggests. Reading between the lines, the Mariners want to resign...but the Foxes are holding off...while in 2004, they signed way back in January. I used to make it down a couple times a year when Appleton played Beloit, who was then the Brewers' affiliate. I'd likely make the drive 5-6 times if they were a Crew team. Next year, Brett Lawrie should be at that level, as will Cutter Dykstra...those two alone are worth the trip. 8/31/2008 11:12:00 PM |
