The Rambling brother actually predicted this, amazingly Ned Yost has been let go, Dale Sveum named interim manager. Ted Simmons also removed from the bench, and reassigned.
Press conference later tonight, but allow me to say, this is a stunning move. Doug is not one to overreact to slumps, so I have to wonder if there is a backstory to this that we'll hear about later, probably well into the offseason.
I need to get my exercise in, so I'll let this digest and come back with my thoughts later. I, of course, have never been a big believer in either believing in minor strategy moves or believing in a "spark" from such things.
Feel free to e-mail me your feelings, and maybe I'll put together a compilation later as well.
Thanks to Jim for the news, as well as Andy, who soon followed. Appreciate it...luckily, I was no showed for my last appointment today.:)
EDIT: Simmons also being removed seems very strange to me, unless he said Yost had brought him in, so he did not feel comfortable staying...if memory serves, Robin Yount did this a few years ago when Bob Brenly was let go by ARI.

Whatever strikes me as
interesting, and serious Milwaukee Brewers thoughts. If you are a believer
in respecting OBP, throwing strikes, and keeping the ball in the park,
you may have found the place you've been searching for. I believe in low taxes, small government, and am not afraid to be labeled patriotic.
