Friday, November 21, 2008 (11/21/2008 10:59:00 PM) - Al It's probably not worth a separate post, but I do find it ironic that all the "proper" folks say to defrost your huge turkey in the fridge...even though it takes forever and literally takes up a huge part of an appliance that is usually far from roomy for a family. Even one of the celeb foodies on The Food Network said last year to thaw it out in the sink...and when asked, scoffed at the germaphobes and said, "People have been doing it that way forever". Of course, what's really funny is that they insist you thaw it in the fridge and still insist you cook the living s*** out of it. 11/21/2008 10:59:00 PM |
