Doug likes Tom G because he can go more than an inning, does not sound ticketed for the 7th, 8th, or 9th. Looks to be middle relief able to go a couple innings if a young SP is knocked out, and also being looked at as SP depth, hence the incentive for games started (as sP's make a lot more).
Crew seems like they are now looking at minor league contracts, or possibly a one year deal. This fills the 40 man also, so someone would have to be DFA'd if they add a vet.
