(8/01/2016 02:30:00 PM) - Al

--Lucroy did not make the trip to SD, will travel today if no trade is made.

--TEX/MIL have not spoken since last night. MIL likely has "final offer" from TEX for a Lucroy/pitcher package. Most feel MIL is shopping their assets today separately to see if they can beat TEX's offer.

--DET has announced they are "out" on Lucroy. They are on the no trade list too.

--Darkhorses or "mystery teams" in on Lucroy? HOU, LAD continue to mentioned. BOS is not, but seems almost conspicuously absent, though they are mentioned as trying to put together a package for Sale or Archer.

--SF interested in many relievers, including several of the Brewers.

--Evan Grant agrees, lack of talk today does not mean TEX/MIL blockbuster is dead, MIL likely surveying the market, and will get back to TEX at a predetermined time today.

--Not directly related, but Adam says if Lucroy is dealt, the only Brewers still on the 25 man roster from the 2011 playoff team will be Braun and Maldy.

--HOU looking for a C, not publicly admitting they have discussed Lucroy.

--NYM making players "more available" than before, still saying no on Conforto and top prospect Rosario.

--Talk show host Mike Francesa is saying Mets still in on Lucroy.

--Reports SAT said Mets' talks broke down because they refused to include Conforto. Mets do still have Conforto, and plan to play him in CF with Granderson, another LH hitter, and Conforto is not fleet of foot, so he is not built to play CF. Just saying, seems like they could get by without him, at least for this year and next.

--Will Smith is mentioned for every team looking for a LH reliever. So are 2-3 others.

--Mets finalizing trade for Jay Bruce. Nimmo going back to Reds. I do not that helping Mets at all, as I'd say there's a 30% chance Nimmo outperforms Bruce the rest of the way, and Jay is far less of a defender.

--Hill/Reddick to Dodgers, per Rosenthal.

--Tom H says odds Lucroy still with team after 3PM, "Low."

--Evan Grant says TEX has to wait out MIL, no other top players available.

--Bruce is signed through 2017. Not as bad as I thought when it was a rental only.

--Mets "still in" on Lucroy, have ammo without Nimmo, per team source.

--Abad to BOS, may help set LHRP market.

--Tom H says Mets would have to include Smith or Rosario (top 2 prospects) to land Lucroy.

--Rosenthal says MIL insisting NYM include Dilson Herrera in trade for Lucroy. TDA would still be in package. Herrera is a 2B/SS who has been rushed, I believe he's just 22.

--Red Sox out on Sale. If they were saving a group of prospects, they are now available.

--Jim Duquette says MIL has asked Zach Wheeler be included in a NYM Lucroy swap.

--Bruce to Mets is being held up due to "unusual medicals."

--TEX talking to MIL about Lucroy package, talking to TB about SP's.

--MIA sending injured SP Rea back to SD, getting a prospect they sent returned as well.

--Teams say asking price on Lucroy has not fallen at all today.

--Dodgers trying to attach Puig to every package they discuss. I'd take him just because he is at a low point. His value will never be lower. Much of his "flaws" are just because everyone expected so much. In a couple years, people will look at his stats, even if he does not improve, and go, well, that's not so bad.

--Rays not liking any offers for SP's, not even Pearce.

--Bruce to NYM being held up by minor leaguer, not Nimmo. Trying to rework.

--Heyman says Lucroy to NYM on "life support." TEX more likely.

--Evan Grant says Smith was not in Lucroy package, should be unaffected.

--Bickford being compared to Hader, similar ceiling; either a closer or #3 SP.

--Rosenthal says Beltran to TEX is close. Many feel this frees up a bat for Lucroy deal (Gallo?).

--Dillon Tate, TEX #4 prospect, #1 pick last year, to NYY for Beltran.

--Tom H says TEX getting Beltran may make it eassier for them to trade Gallo.

--TEX only wants Lucroy + a pitcher. Teams still trying to get together, still talking at 2PM.

--Tom H says no Lucroy trade as of 2:15.

--SF expects criticism for overpaying for Smith, their opinion of Bickford has fallen to a #3 SP.

--Hearing more about NYM than TEX for Lucroy. Posturing? I dunno.

--Mets trying to iron out Bruce deal and acquire Lucroy. 35 minutes to go.

--Heyman says MIL not interested in TDA, makes sense now that they have Susac. Have heard Conforto had to be in it, today heard Herrera. Those two and a lower level minor leaguer or two makes too much sense to ever happen.

--Olney says Mets are out on Lucroy, trying to finalize Bruce.

--Bruce to NYM is done.

--NYM now looking for a relief pitcher.

--TOR sends Jesse Chavez to LAD.

--HOU sends Scott Feldman to TOR.

--Will Smith shocked at package going back to MIL.

--Evan Grant hears TEX is close to announcing a trade.

--Jeff Passan hears TEX is close to getting Lucroy.

--Lucroy/pitcher being reported in Texas, Gallo coming back.

--Rosenthal says Lucroy to TEX is "happening."

--TR Sullivan reporting Brinson and Ortiz in deal.

Keep refreshing...
